About me
I'm currently working freelance, for a few clients, as well as working on some outsourced projects from design agencies. I finished my fulltime job in October 2007 and now work about 6 days a week trying to catch up with my previous salary! I've got an interest in photography, which you can see examples of on my Flickr gallery.
I'm currently living in the city centre of Sheffield, where I bought an apartment in 2006, it helps a lot with the travelling I do for my clients.

Web design profile
I'm a web designer, at heart. But as most designers have experienced, I've had to adapt to a clients needs and an ever changing industry, which have pushed me to explore the wider field of, new media design.
More specifically, I handcode X/HTML and CSS daily, I'm an intermmediate with Javascript and I use jQuery occasionally because I find it's the most documented and easiest to use. I've developed PHP applications such as property management and CMS. I adore Photoshop, and have done for the many years I've been using it. I've used flash, but dislike it - probably because I'm not good enough to do things like games in it. I'm very proficient with Photoshop and Illsutrator and I've got a couple of years of SEO, such as, whilst working for virgin I solely increased traffic by 125% using oragnic white hat SEO. I like to be as creative with SEO as I am with my design, and it usually gets results.
So I do most things relating to online design, development and marketing. I've branded websites and companies, designed sites from brochure size to massive ecommerce stores. I've managed clients on a freelance level, including projects and meeting deadlines. I've worked in design teams of one to eight, as well as working with numerous marketing and development departments. And despite my age (21 if you didn't know), I have 6 years of solid new media experience.
